Lee Michael Cohn, MFA has an international reputation as an acting coach, writer, director, and producer. He directed Inside Private Lives, the hit show placed in the Top 10 out of over 2,000 shows at The Edinburgh Theatre Festival. He produced the feature film Bachelor Lions,
starring Jon Lovitz and Robert Davi for RiverRock Films. He is an alumnus of the Warner Bros. Comedy Writers Workshop, and the recipient of two grants as Playwright-in-Residence at Cal State Northridge. Lee was also an original member of the Atlantic Theater Company in New York City.
Lee is a co-author of A Practical Handbook For The actor, the #1 best-selling acting textbook (340,000 copies sold) that is required reading in hundreds of theatre programs and been translated into Dutch, Japanese. Turkish, and Chinese. His most recent book. "Directing Actors: A Practical Aesthetics Approach" was published by Routledge Press to much industry acclaim.
